In the small wine village of Mailberg in the Pulkau Valley, surrounded by vineyards and a moat, lies the historic Schlosshotel Mailberg. Built in the 11th century by the Knights of Chadolt, the castle has been owned by the Sovereign Order of the Knights of Malta since 1146. Throughout the centuries, the castle has served to protect, feed and cater for travelers and pilgrims.
Stay in the lovingly renovated guest rooms, follow in the footsteps of Maltese history, explore the Pulkau Valley or the wine cellar lanes by bike and taste regional wines in the castle wine cellar.

Rent our e-bikes for a few hours, by the day or for the whole weekend at reasonable prices. You can choose between a step-through e-bike for effortless ascents and descents and a trekking model for a more sporty option.
