Station Aggsbach Markt

Aggsbach Markt station is located at the foot of the Jauerling in the municipality of the same name in the middle of the Wachau. The service station in the Lower Austrian district of Krems an der Donau is just a stone's throw away from the latter and, in addition to the beautiful reception building, offers a fantastic view of the surrounding region during any waiting times.

Aggsbach Markt station is located along the Danube embankment railway line, which is also known as the Wachau Railway. Tickets can be purchased on the trains of the tourist-operated railroad.

• A bus stop with connections to Krems an der Donau and Melk is just a few minutes' walk away.

Numerous excursion destinations in the beautiful Wachau region can be easily reached directly from the Aggsbach Markt bus stop and are always accompanied by fantastic panoramic views. You can walk along the left bank of the Danube in just under three quarters of an hour to Willensdorf, where the famous Venus was found.
