Description

The Alt-Nagelberg Herrenhaus station is located along a branch of the Waldviertel Railway, which branches off to Heidenreichstein at Alt-Nagelberg station, but runs parallel to the main line for another 1 kilometer. With the "Wackelsteinexpress" you can then enjoy the typical landscapes of the Waldviertel on the 13 kilometer long branch line to Heidenreichstein.

  • The Alt-Nagelberg Herrenhaus station is located along the branch line of the Waldviertel narrow-gauge railroad. The line itself is operated by the Waldviertler Schmalspurbahn Verein.
  • The Wackelstein Express stops here on demand in the direction of Alt-Nagelberg and Heidenreichstein.

The Waldviertler Schmalspurbahnverein has set itself the task of preserving the enchanting railroad line from Alt-Nagelberg to Heidenreichstein with the operation of the Wackelstein Express. A varied program with numerous themed and adventure rides offers passengers of the adventure railroad the opportunity to discover the enchanting route again and again.
