At the centrally located Breitenwaida station in the village of the same name in the Lower Austrian district of Hollabrunn, rail travelers will find a well-maintained waiting shelter as well as the opportunity to purchase tickets from the ticket machines installed on site. Loudspeaker announcements and timetable notices provide information about current rail traffic.
There are also over 30 convenient parking spaces for cars and mopeds in the Park & Ride facility, as well as space for more than 20 bicycles in the Bike & Ride facility.
Route information
- The Breitenwaida stop is located along the Nordwestbahn line.
- It is served by trains on the S3 rapid transit line to Hollabrunn, Vienna Floridsdorf and Wr. Neustadt.
- Regional and regional express trains to Payerbach-Reichenau and Vienna Liesing also stop here.

The idyllic village of Breitenwaida is the start and finish of three >>tut gut<< hiking trails. Route 1 leads from Breitenwaida train station for around one and a half hours to the wine cellar lane next to the local church up to the Pankrazberg, before being rewarded with a panoramic view over the west of the Weinviertel.
The >>tut gut<< hiking route 2 also starts at the Breitenwaida bus stop and takes around three hours to hike over the Pankrazberg to the Ötscherblick and back again through the Reintal valley.
Visitors on the >>tut gut<< Route 3 take even longer. The tour via the Hubertus Chapel along the Haberg, a crevice and the Ötscherblick ends with the forest nature trail through the Reintal after around four and a half hours of walking.
