The Kleinpertholz depot is located in the north-western Waldviertel in the district of Gmünd. The quaint reception building is embedded in the local Waldviertel landscape and is used by the adventure trains on request.
Route information
- The Wackelstein Express runs from Alt-Nagelberg to Heidenreichstein on the branch line of the Waldviertel Railway. The adventure train with the "Jausenwagerl" is operated by the Waldviertler Schmalspurbahn Verein and offers varied and imaginative excursions not only during the main season, but all year round. A ride on the nostalgic train can also be hired for a very personal event.
Gallery Zeh
The Zeh Gallery can be visited in the village of Kleinpertholz. In addition to the works of painter Franz Zeh, objects by regional artist Mannhard Zeh are also on display in the local premises as well as in a tranquil sculpture park. Glass and mirror creations by regional artists are presented and offered for sale in the glass studio.
