Getzersdorf station is located on the eastern edge of the market town of the same name in the Lower Austrian district of St. Pölten-Land. The rustic reception building at the single-track station houses a waiting room, which also has a ticket machine. Loud speaker announcements and timetable notices keep guests constantly informed about ongoing operations. Several parking spaces directly on site ensure a carefree transfer to the train.
Route information
The Getzersdorf stop is located along the Tullnerfeldbahn line and therefore also serves the new Westbahn line.

- Trains to the main station in St. Pölten also stop here.
Theyerner Höhe
If you set off from Getzersdorf station on foot for a good hour on a relaxed walk to the west through the picturesque expanses of the lower Traisental valley, you will be rewarded with a fabulous view of the Alpine foothills and Herzogenburg Abbey in the Hollenburgerwald forest on the Theyerner Höhe, surrounded by vineyards.
