Train station Laa a. d. Thaya
Train stationDescription
Laa an der Thaya station is located in the north of the Weinviertel region. The last stop before the Czech Republic has been modern and barrier-free since 2016. The elaborately designed, fully glazed crosswalk with three integrated lifts, which not only ensures an additional aspect of safety when using the railroad facilities, also serves as a connection between two districts in Laa an der Thaya and is therefore also a considerable comfort factor for local residents.
The sanitary facilities and waiting room can still be used in the original reception building. Thanks to timetable notices and loudspeaker announcements, passengers are always well informed about the current rail traffic. With over 180 parking spaces for cars and almost 120 bicycle parking spaces, nothing stands in the way of a comfortable transfer to the train.
