The centrally located Mistelbach Stadt station is located in the northeastern Weinviertel in the district of the same name. At the single-track station, a display monitor and loudspeaker announcements provide information about current rail traffic. The glazed waiting bunk, in which a ticket vending machine was installed, offers waiting passengers protection from wind and weather and the possibility to buy train tickets around the clock. Opposite the platform, a car park for cars and mopeds has been installed, and a parking area for several bicycles is also provided at the station.
Line connections
- On the line of the Laaer Ostbahn regional and regional express trains run here to the Vienna Westbahnhof and to Laa an der Thaya.
- Trains on the Vienna S7 express line also run to Vienna International Airport and Laa an der Thaya.
- Trains on the Vienna S2 rapid transit line to Mödling and Laa an der Thaya connect at the station.
- The bus stop directly at the station Mistelbach Stadt offers numerous bus connections, for example to Poysdorf, Vienna Floridsdorf, Kettlasbrunn and also to the centre of Mistelbach.

The MAMUZ Museum Mistelbach is only a few minutes' walk from Mistelbach Stadt railway station. In the course of innovative exhibitions, exciting topics are presented in an entertaining way every year in the MAMUZ Museum Mistelbach on an area of more than 730 m². For additional design space, the M-Zone in the MAMUZ offers further exhibition space to duly stage presentations by regional, but also international artists.
Directly behind the Museum Mistelbach a walk along the Dionysosweg leads through vineyards, fields and cattle paddocks. The panoramic themed path invites you to let yourself be fully absorbed by the dreamlike landscape of Mistelbach.
