Traisenpark St. Pölten
Shopping center / streetDescription
Everything under one roof: Traisenpark in the Viehofen district of St. Pölten is one of the largest shopping centers in Lower Austria. Around 3 million customers a year do their shopping here in an ideally connected location. Around 90 stores are located on a sales area of 35,000 m² generously laid out over two floors. In addition to all the stores for everyday needs, there are also specialty stores and boutiques.
Over 1,100 free parking spaces on four levels and bright, modern architecture characterize this popular shopping center. Family-friendly services - such as childcare and wheelchair rental - promote a comfortable shopping experience for young and old. The shopping mall also boasts branches of the post office, bank and pharmacy as well as an integrated police station.
Tip: The Traisen Center is located directly opposite the shopping center. More stores and businesses have been set up here in the open air, with additional parking spaces. This really leaves nothing to be desired when it comes to shopping.
Shopping in Traisenpark: nice shopping, good climate
The Lower Austrian shopping center was opened in 1992 and was partially restructured and extended by around 3,000 m² in 2001. Most of the mall area is covered with glass, which ensures as much natural light as possible. Tilting ventilation windows counteract a poor climate. In addition to the spacious shopping area, an adjoining tower over 30 meters high contains a medical center and offices.

Sunday flea market in the shopping center
Basically every Sunday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m., Austria's largest covered flea market sets up its tents in Traisenpark: both inside the mall and on the covered parking deck 1. The large, colorful crowd of private sellers and antique dealers has already attracted over 5,000 visitors since 1993.
