Weingut Gästehaus Aigner

The Gästehaus Aigner winery is a place where the art of winemaking has been cultivated for generations. With around 19 hectares of vineyards in the Krems region, including top sites such as Sandgrube and Weinzielberg, it is a place characterized by maturity, tradition and strength. The ageability of the wines is an important aspect, with the best wines remaining fresh and vital even after 15 or 20 years.

The wines of Weingut Aigner are aimed at experienced connoisseurs, especially the white wines with ageing potential, which are more a matter for specialists and do not necessarily appeal to mass tastes.

The focus is on the classic grape varieties of the region, above all Grüne Veltliner and Riesling, supplemented by other varieties that round off the range. The grapes are predominantly harvested by hand and carefully processed in our own cellar in order to preserve the natural aromas and characteristics of each site. The result is elegant, expressive wines that stand for the region and its winemaking tradition.
