Biohof Steg

The Steg organic farm is located in the heart of the Mostviertel region in the municipality of Gresten-Land, where the products are also available in the Naturkostüberl.
Mathias and Edith run a mixed farm with suckler cow husbandry and a focus on direct marketing. On the farm, they try to harmonize the traditional with the modern. Mathias is responsible for the production of fruity juices, exquisite cider products and elegant brandies and liqueurs. Edith's main focus in the bakery is the production of farmhouse bread, Kletzenbrot and various baked goods and is supported by Grandma Maria. The centuries-old drying house is Grandpa Michael's world and the basic ingredients for the famous Kletzenbrot are made from it.
