Cable ferry Weißenkirchen – St. Lorenz

The rolling ferry, which can be used by cars, connects Weißenkirchen with the historic fortified church of St. Lorenz on the south bank of the Wachau during the season. The roller ferry transports pedestrians, cyclists, motorcycles and cars. The crossing offers a magnificent view of the beautiful Wachau landscape. From St. Lorenz there is also a beautiful, albeit strenuous, climb up to the Seekopf on the Welterbesteig Wachau - Wachau World Heritage Trail.
