Loich station is located on the valley line of the Mariazell Railway in the municipality of the same name in Lower Austria's Mostviertel region. The on-demand stop is equipped with a stop request button, meaning that the next Himmelstreppe stops at this stop on request for its passengers. The attractively designed reception building on the platform offers a covered waiting area, and there are also several parking spaces for cars and mopeds, as well as five parking spaces for bicycles on site.

After a half-hour walk from Loich train station, you reach the open-air and local history museum with a mill, where you can experience a little journey through time thanks to the lovingly arranged objects and the idyllic ambience.
