Railway station St. Peter- Seitenstetten

Description

St. Peter - Seitenstetten station is located in the district of Amstetten, in the west of Lower Austria's Mostviertel region. There is a ticket machine in the waiting room of the central platform, which allows passengers to buy tickets around the clock. A publicly accessible WC has also been installed at the stop.

As part of the extensive refurbishment in 2014, the entire station area was made barrier-free throughout. Two lifts were installed and the height of the platforms was adjusted to the level of the arriving trains, making it much easier for people in wheelchairs, parents with baby carriages and passengers with heavy luggage to board and alight.

The Park & Ride facility directly on site has parking spaces for over 120 vehicles, making it much easier to switch from car to train. Space has been created for over 110 bicycles in the Bike & Ride station.
