Description
The Weinbau & Buschenschank (typical tavern) family Hochmeister is located in Kollnbrunn, surrounded by picturesque vineyards. Great importance is attached to sustainability and environmentally friendly work, for example through the cultivation of various greenery plants. The vines thrive on deep, humus-rich loam and loess soils, which are characteristic of the Weinviertel. The quality of the wines is enhanced by consistently reducing yields and careful grape processing. A modern wine cellar was built in 1990 and is constantly being modernized. The range includes white wine varieties such as Grüne Veltliner, Welschriesling, Pinot Blanc and Rheinriesling. A specialty of the house is the "Brünnerstrassler", a cuvée of Welschriesling and Grüne Veltliner. Among the red wines, the typical Austrian grape varieties Zweigelt and Blauburger are available. The Buschenschank (typical tavern) opens its doors several times a year and offers wines, seasonal and regional dishes as well as homemade sausages, bacon and spreads. Kollnbrunn is located just 28 km north of Vienna, directly on the A5. A spacious parking lot and a children's playground away from the public road ensure a pleasant stay.
