The outstanding Groll wine is the result of knowledge that has been passed down through decades of tradition within the Groll family and therefore guarantees very high quality and exceptional wine taste. The Groll winery in the wine village of Reith, which has existed since 1880, cultivates 10 hectares of vineyards in the best locations: Hiesberg, Seeberg and Hoheneck. In addition to intensive work with the raw product, the winery also uses state-of-the-art cellar technology, as Groll wine is constantly striving for further development. The vines thrive on clay and primary rock soils, which are covered with vegetation all year round. Gentle soil cultivation and pesticides that are friendly to beneficial insects form the basis for healthy, fully ripe grapes. On slopes and terraces with intensive sunlight, the grapes ripen into great wines. Only when the harmonious balance between sugar level and acidity is achieved does the manual harvest begin. The Groll winery manages to score points time and time again thanks to its continuity and exceptional quality.
