Gedersdorf is a tranquil wine village in Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German). What sets it apart are the award-winning wines that are chosen here every year. The Buchecker family's wine tavern, which offers special delicacies in its traditional parlor, also has a selection of these: from organic sheep's cheese from the Pielach Valley to deer specialties from the Waldviertel to the "Krokofax" (crocofax), a special roll created especially for children.
The wines are among the best the village has to offer, as the many awards prove. So that parents can enjoy their aperitif and snack in peace, there is a children's play corner for the little ones and a play area in the warmer months of the year - where they are expressly encouraged to let off steam!
