Description

The Mostviertel is a region with two faces. On one side there is the north, a delightful area of rolling Hügelland that is home to the perry pear tree. On the other side there is the south, which boasts vast swathes of unspoilt countryside, narrow valleys, bubbling mountain streams, alpine pasture and mountain lakes. Anyone who cycles up the Ybbstal Cycle Path to begin with and then back down the Erlauftal Cycle Path, starting from the Lunzer See lake peak, will really enjoy experiencing the gradual change in landscapes on two of the most beautiful cycle paths in the Mostviertel. Along the Ybbs and the Erlauf, you will not only find breathtaking views, but also plenty of refreshing places to stop for a break.
