Description
Sometimes you need a change of perspective to improve your quality of life: At the Panoramagasthof Mitterböck, guests are offered a cross-border view from the inn's garden. On a clear day, the view sweeps across the Cider, Mühlviertel and Waldviertel regions. Deep-rooted chestnut trees cast a shadow. On the 560-metre-high hill in St. Peter in der Au, guests can take a break from everyday life. All that's missing is high-quality inn cuisine. Et voilà: The roast beef from Mostviertel cattle with cider sauce, napkin dumplings and vegetables skillfully highlights the advantages of the region. The friendly service makes it taste even better. The grilled pork medallions "Mostviertler style" are tender and full of flavor. The wine and cider menu is extensive.
Cross-border enjoyment
Panoramagasthof Mitterböck offers down-to-earth dishes, is committed to tradition and strives for quality. The high demands of guests are met in full. The inn is known for the high-quality basic products on the plate - and in the glass. The goat's cheese is supplied by the Ritt family from St. Georgen, and fine brandies from the Mostelleria of the Farthofer family from Öhling. The restaurant and the Jägerstüberl radiate comfort and are furnished in country house style. From the panorama room, which seats up to 120 people, guests can also enjoy a fantastic view from inside. Away from the culinary delights, a visit to the Sonntagberg Basilica or Seitenstetten Abbey is well worthwhile.
