We serve what the Bucklige Welt has to offer. The more regional, the better. At Wirtshaus Triad in Krumbach, guests can experience the journey of regional products live. Root vegetables, tomatoes and the like go straight from the herb and vegetable garden into the cooking pot. With a seat at the chef's table in Veronika and Uwe Machreich's kitchen, you can and should pay attention to the craftsmanship. Great things are indeed revealed: the perfectly cooked creamed veal is served with napkin dumplings. The meat dishes impress with their high product quality, as does the exemplary fried chicken. The sweet and sour lemongrass sorbet with raspberries is a refreshing finish. The cuisine of this award-winning restaurant cannot be categorized. The kitchen is too open, too creative.
Award-winning restaurant as ambassador
Since it was founded in 2004, the Triad has continued to evolve. A former farm was transformed into a restaurant with a dreamy garden and natural pond. Over time, a small farm store and an originally designed accommodation option - the Viennese Alpine Bed - were added. The view is phenomenal. The nickname "Bed in the Wies'n" could not be more apt. The roles in the inn are clearly divided. Veronika Machreich is the patron of the house and in close contact with the guests. Uwe pursues his vocation in the kitchen. Austrian classics and multi-course surprise menus are served in a harmonious ambience. The wine cellar is located at a lower altitude and offers an exquisite selection of grape varieties.
