A young couple from Salzburg have moved to the Waldviertel to rediscover the slower pace of life - and to share it with their guests. In the ancient three-sided courtyard, stone walls and wooden floors meet box-spring beds and designer lamps. Knitting meets iPad. Comfort meets the simple pleasures of life: reading a good book from the hotel's own library, finally doing a jigsaw puzzle in peace, sampling regional delicacies from the Kost-Bar, daydreaming in the romantic courtyard, on the stone terrace or in the wellness forest. And if you feel the urge to move, you can simply set off on a hike right outside the hotel gates or get up to speed on your bike.
