Description
It is a remarkable building that stands in the middle of a tiny village in the deepest Waldviertel. The former factory owner's villa from the 1930s was built in the "New Objectivity" style by Erich Franz Leischner and seems to have fallen out of time and space - with its cubic lookout tower, curved façade and pointed gables. Thomas Eccli, the current owner, has carefully "polished up" his find, as he himself puts it, leaving it as clear and restrained as possible in its original state. Here you can spend your time reading and having stimulating conversations - also with the urbane and extremely likeable owner.
