• The Römertherme Baden (Brusattiplatz) is located in the immediate vicinity of the main square, Josefsplatz, the casino and right next to the Green Market. It is therefore also very easy to reach by public transport (bus, Baden local railway).
• The Sole Felsen Welt in Gmünd can be reached from Gmünd railway station in about 20 minutes on foot or by bus, partly with a shuttle service on request.
• The Ybbstaler Solebad is connected by bus from Waidhofen an der Ybbs. It is only a few minutes' walk from the bus stop.
• You can reach the Baden thermal baths by regional train, S-Bahn or Badener Lokalbahn. From there you can continue on foot or by city bus in the direction of the lido.

The quickest way to reach the thermal baths in Baden from Vienna is the Römertherme Baden and the Linsberg Asia thermal spa resort in Bad Erlach. Both are easily accessible by public transport and are ideal for a short thermal spa holiday.

Yes, especially when it's raining, windy and grey, the thermal spas are the perfect retreats. Warm pools, sauna areas and indoor relaxation zones make your wellness holiday in Lower Austria largely independent of the weather.

The Baden thermal baths are open seasonally (usually from May to September) and are not a bad weather tip as they are purely an outdoor pool

Near the Sole-Felsen-Bad and Hotel in Gmünd is the Blockheide Nature Parkwith marked trails - ideal for half-day hikes between wobbly stones, ponds and observation towers. The Waldviertelbahn cycle path, where nostalgic charm meets expansive countryside and the locomotive brings flexibility, is ideal for cycling.

At the Therme Laa | Hotel | Silent Spa | Villas, "tut gut" hiking trails of various lengths through the gentle Weinviertel hills start right in front of the thermal spa hotel. Discover the region on two wheels via the Weinradroute Veltliner (approx. 75 km circular route from Laa/Thaya) or the cross-border cycle path "Hallo Nachbar" to Mikulov.

Classic thermal spas work with warm thermal or brine water and large spa areas. Cold-water spas, such as the Bad Vöslau thermal baths or the Fischau thermal baths, rely on refreshing spring water and a summer-fresh atmosphere - ideal for hot days.
