In summer, the Schlesingerteich pond with forest spring water quality offers the opportunity for fishing and swimming. In winter, Bärnkopf has made a name for itself as a cross-country skiing center. Bärnkopf is also an ideal starting point for hikes, MTB tours and excursions to interesting cultural monuments in the Waldviertel.
Woodchopper museum: The woodchopper museum displays the development of the area from the time it was first developed to today's forestry industry. Old saws, choppers and other tools help to provide a lively insight. Various adventure areas allow you to discover wood, the forest and the way of life.
