Tut-gut Schritteweg Gutenbrunn

When choosing your route, make sure it’s appropriate for your fitness level. Check to see if the restaurants and cafes you plan to visit along the way are open. Pack your fully charged cell phone and maps in your backpack. For cross-border trips, please always carry a passport or ID card with you.

Sturdy footwear, functional clothing, sun and rain protection, maps, trekking poles if needed, first-aid kit (blister bandages), and plenty of food and drinks (snacks, granola bars, fruit, water).For winter hikes, we recommend a thermos with hot drinks, warm, functional clothing, a hat, gloves, and a flashlight or headlamp.

The hike begins at the Inhalatorium and leads past the curling rink to the church and the fountain in Gutenbrunn, passing by the castle and the Gutenbrunn municipal office. After a short climb, you’ll reach the elementary school and the kindergarten in Gutenbrunn. The trail continues uphill, past the cemetery, along a gravel path. After a short walk, you’ll reach the Kaiserbankerl, which offers a magnificent view of Gutenbrunn. You’ll follow a path—which is used as a cross-country ski trail in winter—past the sports field. The final part of the hike takes you through a wooded area. After crossing the L83, you’ll reach Hanslteich, from where the trail leads back to Gutenbrunn and the Inhalatorium, complete with a Kneipp path and playground.
