From the main square, the route heads east along Mistelbacherstraße, past the Billa supermarket to the “Miniature Railroad Model” – then turn right toward the train station – at the “Zur grünen Insel” inn, turn left toward the steam locomotive monument – after crossing the federal highway and the railroad tracks, follow the tracks and leave the town at the lime plant – along the dirt road, you’ll reach the windbreak at 2.3 km – turn right downhill toward the Gebmannsbach – cross the bridge and turn right; after 0.5 km, follow the ditch southward into the village of Gebmanns – follow the dirt paths to reach the Gebmannsberg (344 m) – head back downhill and turn right at the Gebmannsbach – Ride downstream past the pond, then turn left onto the road – before reaching the Taschelbach, join the “Blauburger Bike Trail” and follow it until just before Eggersdorf (turn left after a small forest at km 12.6) – head north along the Grafensulzerbach – pass through the town of Grafensulz – at 14.7 km, turn left onto the farm road and take the steep climb up to the railroad bridge – cross the bridge and continue on the dirt road to the edge of the forest at 16.7 km - DISMOUNT AND PUSH - Cycling is not permitted on the following 800 meters of private property - You may resume the tour on your MTB only after the footpath fork toward Draisinenalm – Follow this trail and, after exiting the forest at 19.8 km, turn left onto the road – From the intersection, turn left and ride briskly down the road toward Niederleis – Shortly after passing the castle wall, turn right at the intersection – Climb up to Au and turn right at GH Riepl into the village – pass the chapel on the left and then follow the rocky ravine up to the hiking trail at the hilltop – ride down this hiking trail to the mountain saddle – cross the federal highway at the 25.4 km mark – Climb up to the Oberleis church and continue steeply uphill to the lookout point on a smooth stretch of asphalt – Circle around the plateau – Descend to the large parking lot – At the north/west exit, continue up the farm road heading west – Turn right at the next intersection at km 28.3 – Follow the road north – turn left at the next intersection – here a gravel road (Blauburger Bike Trail) begins, which you follow through the forest – At the end of the forest, a beautiful chestnut-lined avenue begins; turn left at its end – Now follow the path along the edge of the forest, past the Schüttkasten, heading east – Turn right at the Semmelberg by the war memorial – Watch out for the barrier at the descent leading to the state highway! – Cross the road and follow the path past the Fasanhaus all the way to Ernstbrunn – after the cemetery, turn right and you’ll be back at the main square.
