Start at the Landsknecht Fountain and head east—turn left into the alley at the Plague Column—at the end of St. Martingasse, you’ll reach the edge of town—continue right downhill to the windbreak—go up to the end of the belt, where you’ll find a sign that says “Ernsti ” sign—continue east on the farm road to the windbreak—turn left into the village of Steinbach – Head toward the town center and, before the chapel, turn right onto the farm road to leave the town – take the next path to the left and head northwest up to the wooded area – then follow the dirt road to the right up the hill to the parking lot in Oberleis – continue north to the “Stockerauerkreuz” – turn left onto the road heading south – from here, follow the “Blauburger Bike Trail” – at the next left-hand curve, the gravel road begins descending to the right – follow this road and, at the end of the chestnut tree-lined avenue, continue left – following the bike trail, you’ll reach the Ernstbrunn Wildlife Park – at the parking lot, turn right and continue through the village of Dörfles – keep right at the bus stop – leave the village heading south on dirt roads toward the nearby hill – now turn left onto the road and shortly afterward you’ll enter Ernstbrunn – with the church in sight, you’ll be back at the main square shortly thereafter.
