Description
This route leads from Bad Tatzmannsdorf via the Willersdorfer Schlucht and the Drei-Länder-Eck to Gschaidt (municipality of Hochneukirchen).

- Route description From the main square with its alpannonia information board, we walk through the adjacent park heading north, pass the open-air museum and the outdoor pool up to the federal road. We cross it to reach Jormannsdorf on the opposite side. Passing the St. Anna Church, we turn left at the intersection and climb a path through the forest. Once at the top, we are already in Oberschützen and walk down into the village center. At the intersection with the inn, Raiffeisen bank, and bus parking lot (alpannonia information board), we turn right. A few meters further on, we reach the secondary school and the cultural center and behind the latter take a path right to the road to Aschau. We follow this to the edge of the village but after the last house turn left onto a field path and walk along the brook to the bridge that takes us to Willersdorf. Passing the local history museum and the old catholic branch church, we arrive at the main square with its protestant school church and follow the Willersbach northwards. Already at the edge of the village, we enter the forest and are in the Willersdorf Gorge. We walk deeper into this fascinating forest landscape and only at a clearing do we have the option to exit the gorge towards Aschau. However, we continue towards the Three-Country Corner. At the Willersdorf/Aschau/Gschaidt intersection, we continue our way north and after half an hour pass the Valtlmühle, continue along the path through the gorge and reach another, but dilapidated mill (Patrizlmühle). Shortly after, we arrive at the Three-Country Corner Burgenland-Styria-Lower Austria. In the middle of the forest, this spot offers us a chance to rest. Following the gorge, we walk to Loipersdorf and cross the village up to the chapel at the edge of the village. Here, we take the path down to the right and again right at another fork. A few meters further, three paths lead into the forest. We choose the left one and gently climb the forest road. For about one kilometer along this forest path, we must descend left into a small ditch, cross a small creek and climb up the other side again. At a crossing gravel road, we continue left and finally reach Gschaidt where we head for the church and the inn.
