Description
The starting point is the imposing Seitenstetten Benedictine Abbey, which has been the cultural heart of the region since the 12th century. From here, the trail heads east, past the mini-golf course - a welcome opportunity for a short playful break.
You soon reach the club center. A detour to the cemetery church of St. Veit is worthwhile: the first documentary mention of Seitenstetten was recorded with its foundation. A place steeped in history that invites you to pause for a moment.
Return to the fire station. From there, continue past the music hall and tennis court to the small traffic island, where you turn right. After around 500 meters, the path branches off to the right again, leads over a small hill and finally brings you back to the starting point at the monastery.
The route is easy to walk and is ideal for a short walk - even with children - or as a short break in between
