Description
Whether you're just looking for a short, leisurely stroll, a short Nordic walking tour or a run: the Barabara promenade is something for everyone. The tour is perfect if you're on a tight time budget or if you're a runner looking for a morning run. You run exclusively on firm ground along the Schwarza, where the river cools the air a little, especially on hot summer days. Over bridges and through the spa gardens, you can enjoy the beautiful landscape and do something for your health at the same time. A special bonus for culture and architecture fans: the tour leads past Reichenau Castle and the parish church of St. Barbara.
- safety instructions The promenade is not accessible in case of flooding!Make sure the chosen route matches your experience and fitness. Inform yourself beforehand about the weather forecast.Running tips:Start slowly to gradually get the circulation going. After about 10 minutes take a short break with some stretching exercises. Vary the pace to increase performance gains. Avoid overexertion, especially on steep sections; better walk if you lack basic fitness. Include warm-up and cool-down phases. Let the run wind down and avoid stretching too intensely afterwards!
- Equipment Wear suitable clothing and good running shoes. Remember rain and sun protection. Take enough to drink with you.
