Rosenau municipal office - Ybbstal cycle path - Lueggraben - Doppel - Sonntagberg basilica - Gleiß - Rosenau

Initially flat along the Ybbstal cycle path to the start of Waidhofen/Ybbs. The route climbs steadily via the very low-traffic Luegergraben to the panoramic high trail between St. Leonhard and Sonntagberg. A few more pedal strokes to the famous basilica on Sonntagberg, the "gateway to the Ybbstal Alps".

Getting there
Coming from Vienna, take the A1 to the Amstetten West exit, B121 to Kematen an der Ybbs, then left onto Allhartsberger Street after Kematen, continue via Burgstall to Sonntagberg.
Coming from the west, take the A1 to the Oed exit, then via Gobetzberg, Fohra, Samesbruck, Aschbach Markt, and Heide on B121, B121 to Kematen an der Ybbs, then left onto Allhartsberger Street after Kematen, continue via Burgstall to Sonntagberg.
