This short local hike leads through Klamm, past the ruins and the parish church, up to the Kreuzberg. Once at the top, hikers are rewarded with a magnificent view of the surrounding landscape - and culinary delights. At Kreuzberg, the Althammerhof invites you to stop for a bite to eat. Thanks to the short walking time, this tour is ideal for families and can be wonderfully combined with a trip along the picturesque Semmering Railway.

- Route description Starting from Klamm train station, the hike leads via Bahnhofweg and Klammer Straße to the ruin and the Klamm parish church. On the way back, walk the short stretch again to Rumpler Straße. Follow this street to Rumpler farm, continue uphill on the forest road to Villenweg. Follow this left to Karl-Schubert-Straße. Turn right here and go to the intersection with Althammerhofstraße. Go downhill on this street to the intersection with Hohlweg. Now keep right and continue downhill until Hohlweg flows into Klammer Straße. Follow along the street to the left back to Klamm train station.
- Parking Parking spaces are available at Klamm train station.
- Getting there Coming from Vienna via the S6 to the Gloggnitz exit. Then follow the state road to Schottwien. In Schottwien, turn at the intersection towards Breitenstein. Then follow the road through Adlitzgraben to Breitenstein.Coming from Graz, take the S35 and S6 to the Maria Schutz exit. Turn towards Maria Schutz/Schottwien and follow the road to the sharp curve, where it goes via the Adlitzgräben to Klamm.
- Public transport Travel by train to Klamm train station, where the hiking start point is located.
