Description
The tour starts at the train station in Mikulov and is a direct connection between the wine towns of Mikulov and Poysdorf. From Poysdorf, the route continues via Prinzendorf to Zistersdorf. In this striking windmill area, the route leads south along a railroad line to Loidesthal and Erpress and crosses Niedersulz. There, the MAMUZ museum invites you to pay a visit. The route continues via Hohenruppersdorf, Bad Pirawarth through typical oil and gas producing communities such as Auersthal, Bockfliess and Großengersdorf. Cycle route 91 ends in Deutsch-Wagram, where you can board the train or continue directly along the Marchfeld Canal route.
- Equipment The route is suitable for any type of bicycle. From city bike to gravel bike to mountain bike. For racing bikes, gravel sections are less suitable.
- Route description The Route 91 is only signposted from the border crossing at Drasenhofen. The cycle route 91 runs along the typical lightly trafficked Weinviertel agricultural paths, most of which are asphalted.
