Make sure when choosing your route that it matches your fitness level. Check whether the gastronomy businesses you want to visit on the way are open. Pack your charged mobile phone and maps in your backpack. For cross-border tours, always carry a passport or identity card.
Sturdy footwear, functional clothing, sun and rain protection, maps, if necessary telescopic poles, first aid kit (blister plasters), sufficient provisions (snacks, muesli bars, fruit, water).
From the church square you walk past the castle towards the Edlesberg junction. You turn right and go up a gentle slope to the edge of the forest (passing the school and cemetery). You take the forest path parallel to the road and walk about 1km to the individual farmstead. Now you walk along a beautiful forest path until you reach the Diebsweg junction. You turn right downhill to the birch avenue. Passing the stone fountain, through the village of Gutenbrunn (possibilities for refreshment) you return to the starting point.
