Hiking tour Starting from Main entrance nature park, church
The nature park trail leads through different habitats. Forests, water, meadows and rocks are passed. Contact with nature and animals for young and old
Here in the Dobersberg Nature Park, along the River Thaya, sports enthusiasts, nature lovers, those seeking peace and quiet and families will all find a place to relax. The nature park trail starts at the main entrance to the nature park and leads along the forest nature trail to the fallow deer enclosure, where mouflons and sheep enjoy small treats (feeding machine). Before that, children can let off steam at the playground. Fish watching is best done from the Pioniersteg, which also offers a great opportunity for children to admire the Thaya through its glass fronts. Before continuing uphill, the snack station invites you to enjoy a cozy get-together on Sundays and public holidays from May to October. Once you reach the wild boar enclosure, you are rewarded with a wonderful view. The path to the Lorelei rock down into the Fern Gorge is more adventurous. In order to enjoy the beautiful places along the nature park trail, we recommend planning a duration of 3 hours.
