Description
The cycle tour offers challenging climbs and magnificent panoramic views. Historic places such as Göttweig and the Danube cycle path make the tour a highlight for nature lovers and ambitious cyclists.

- Route description Route: St. Pölten Town Hall – Eisberg – Cemetery – Waitzendorf – turn right to Wernersdorf – Neidling – Gabersdorf – Eniklberg (steep climb) – Lauterbach right – after 50 m left – Besenbuch – Oed – junction with state road – Gansbach – to the town center – right towards Hessendorf – steep ascent (18% on about 0.75 km) – Wolfenreith – Geyersberg – Schenkenbrunn – Oberbergern – Unterbergern – Mautern – Danube Cycle Path 6 to Palt (caution, unprotected railway crossing) – Palt – towards Göttweig – Eggendorf – Höbenbach (turnoff to the wine tavern village Krustetten) – Meidling in the valley – continuing to Wölbling (caution, unprotected railway crossing) – connection to the Fladnitztal Cycle Route – Oberwölbling – Ambach – Grünz – Obritzberg – Landhausen – Großrust – Greiling – Fladnitztal Cycle Route 402 – St. Pölten.
