Mild and wild. These two characteristics unite the Mostviertel. The eMobile route "The sporty one" takes you with your electric car to the wild, adventurous side of the region. The two alpine rivers Ybbs and Erlauf and the characteristic mountains of the Mostviertel Alps serve as your "navigation system": Ötscher, Hochkar, Königsberg. The tour in the heart of the Iron Road covers 230 km.
With 60 modern e-charging stations, the Cider and Iron Road guarantees all e-mobilists a relaxed stay in the region. A total of three themed routes take you to the most beautiful places in the south-western Mostviertel. Combine them as you wish and discover your favorite route. - Route description The sporting route includes stretches loved by vintage car enthusiasts such as participants of the Eisenstraße Classic or the Ennstal Classic and once served as supply and transport routes for the raw iron from the Styrian Erzberg. A leisurely drive with many stops is recommended: for photographing, strolling, hiking, and stopping at the many award-winning Heurigen and inns of the Eisenstraße.
