Erlebnisrundweg Bioenergiedorf Japons

You’ll start the Bioenergy Trail at the “Wiazhaus” in Japons, where you’ll receive informational materials on sustainable energy. Eight stations—covering life energy, muscle power, solar, biogas, and wind energy, as well as wood (with a tree puzzle), hydropower, and energy conservation—invite you to explore. Follow the signs for “Bioenergy Village Japons,” past the playground to the “Sonnenplatzl” with a “solar bench.” From there, you can already see the biomass energy station near the biogas plant. In the fields and meadows, a model wind turbine with an electricity generator awaits you. At the Wood Energy Area, you’ll have the chance to learn about trees and types of wood. Now you’ll walk through the Saaß Forest and turn right toward Japons at the wayside shrine. You’ll find a barbecue area where you can grill. At the Plätscherplatz, there’s a water playground with water wheels. At each station, the various forms of energy are clearly described on large signs, making them easy to understand even without a guided tour.
