Description
The route in St. Veit begins with a wonderful view from the Lower Traisental over the Danube valley to the beginnings of the Waldviertel. The surrounding area is characterized by farmland, mountain farms and forest. After leaving the village, you can observe gray herons next to the playground. Beavers are also shaping the landscape along the route - can you find their tracks? Shortly before Rohrbach, wild ducks can often be seen at the playground. As you cross Rohrbach, you can look out for a stork's nest on a company roof on the right! Finally, there are lots of ducks next to the playground in Hainfeld. A visit to the Hainfeld municipal swimming pool is a great way to cool off and have some refreshing fun.
