Wonderful scenery frames the tour, initially on recycled material with gravel to tranquil Türnitz and later past power spots to the entrance to the Falkenschlucht gorge.
From the start in Freiland (near the industrial and light railway museum), the route follows the railroad cycle path along the most beautiful railroad cycle path in Europe (Greenway Award) and through 3 tunnels on recycled material with gravel to Türnitz. Through Türnitz along the Traisen, past the natural swimming pool (partly asphalt, partly gravel) and to the less frequented state roads L5213 (junction to the Eibljet summer toboggan run and the Dark Mars virtual toboggan run - reachable in 5 minutes) and L5214. Continue initially on asphalt and at the Hauptretzhof the gravel road begins, past the Iron Gate, a place of power and the Mariengrotte to the finish, at the entrance to the Falkenschlucht (place of power).
Please note the winter closure of this and all other MTB trails in Mostviertel from 1 November to 14 April.

Parking in Freiland, 100m after the turnoff from the B20 onto the B214 towards Hohenberg or at the old Freiland station
Arrival via the B20 Traisental federal road from St. Pölten South, then turn onto the B214 towards Hohenberg in Freiland
Access also possible to the grotto, passage through the Falkenschlucht at approx. 840m altitude and to the Nixhöhle on foot
