    Description

    Schweiggers lies at the source of the Thaya river and is a great place to discover nature and culture. The poet Robert Hamerling once raved about the village and its surroundings and drew a mythological sketch of the landscape. You too can discover and hike through many new things at the numerous adventure stations of the "Places of Power": Thaya spring, lawn labyrinth, watershed, meridian stone, "Moata" pilgrimage site, millennium tower of life, Bernhard oasis in Walterschlag. Also worth seeing are the idyllic market square, the three parish churches, the municipal museum and the potato museum.
