Description
The Tut Gut hiking trail from the valley station of the Schneeberg chairlift in the direction of Mamauwiese, at the crossroads at the ford on the right, along the wild and romantic Sebastianbach stream to the waterfall. You can stop off at the waterfall hut (see opening times) and enjoy delicious dishes in the unique 200-year-old wooden house - the Sebastianhütte. On the way to Losenheim, combined with a very short detour, you will also find the Hotel Restaurant Forellenhof and the Pizzeria Alpentaverne, where it is always worth stopping for a bite to eat. A pleasant path then leads through the forest to the valley station - avoid the road! Once here, you also have the opportunity to enjoy various delicacies at the Lahning Inn.
When planning your hike, please note the information on altitude, route length and walking time so that the tour remains a pleasant experience for the whole family.
- Equipment Always take appropriate maps with you. Wear sturdy shoes suitable for the route (mountain boots or trekking shoes), bring sun and rain protection as well as water and a small snack. Take your mobile phone and save the mountain rescue emergency number: 140.
- Route description The Tut Gut hiking trail leads from the valley station of the Schneeberg chairlift in Losenheim along the red marking to the Mamauwiese. At the junction by the ford, follow the blue marking to the right, take the forest road (Langseitenweg) and then continue right along the wild-romantic Sebastianbach to the waterfall. From the waterfall, first follow the blue marking and then the yellow one to Losenheim. Before the Forellenhof, follow the blue marking to the right to the parking lot where your car is parked or where the bus (line 350) departs for Puchberg.

- Getting there Arrival from Vienna:Take the A2 south motorway towards Wiener Neustadt to the exit Wr. Neustadt West. From there follow the federal road B26 towards Puchberg am Schneeberg. The route is well signposted.Arrival from Graz:Take the A2 south motorway towards Vienna to the exit Neunkirchen West. From there follow the federal road B26 towards Puchberg am Schneeberg. Follow the signs.
- Public transport Take the train to Wr. Neustadt. From there take the regional train towards Puchberg am Schneeberg to the terminal station.Direct excursion train on weekends: departure at 8:41 am from Vienna main station, return at 4:36 pm from Puchberg station.Buses also run from Neunkirchen, Ternitz (line 350), and Pernitz (line 330) to Puchberg station.
