The Fladnitz Valley Cycle Route is a circular tour that starts and ends at Lake Viehofner See in St. Pölten and leads via Statzendorf through the peaceful, scenic region in western Lower Austria. The predominantly flat route runs away from busy roads through gently undulating landscapes, fields, meadows and small villages and is ideal for families, leisure cyclists and pleasure cyclists.
Along the route, there are always beautiful views of the cultural landscape, small chapels and typical village views. On the way home, the route leads via Karlstetten back to Lake Viehofner See, with rest areas and quiet sections inviting you to take a break and the proximity to Fladnitz providing a pleasant, natural ambience. The circular tour combines exercise, an experience of nature and a regional atmosphere away from the main cycle routes.
