From Kirchberg station, turn left into Friedenstraße, turn right into Schlossstraße (tip: “Schloss Kirchberg” castle park with Dirndloase), through the castle courtyard, after Turmweg turn left, railway crossing, turn right, follow the Pielachtal cycle path approx. 3.3 km (tip: left Gut Friedstein/sanctuary), cross the Pielach bridge in Schwerbach, turn right onto B39, at GH Kemetner (tip dining option) turn left and follow the road, Oberwies, Kerschbaum, Bergerhof, Großgsoll, on the gravel road to Luft (tip resting place with Ötscher view), at the parking lot follow the main road to the right to the first hairpin bend, turn left and follow the road, Hochbrand, Geisberg, downhill on the goods path Laimboden, (tip turn right below “Am Kirchenberg” to the parish church and Skywalk), turn right and after approx. 300m turn left, follow the cycle path next to the Pielach, tip right adventure outdoor pool Kirchberg, to the “Schulbrücke”, cross the Schulbrücke, straight into Bahnhofstraße, starting point Kirchberg station (tip model railway museum “Bahn im Bahnhof”).
Coming from Vienna, take the A1 to the St. Pölten South exit, then B20 to Spratzern, at Spratzern turn right onto B39, continue on B39 to Kirchberg an der Pielach.
Coming from the west, take the A1 to the Pöchlarn exit, at Männersdorf onto B215, B215 to Mank, via Massendorf and Marbach to Kirchberg an der Pielach.
