Geisterwerkstatt-Weg

This approximately 6.9-kilometer circular hiking trail takes you from the Staar Inn in Wolfshoferamt to the Reitwanderweg trail. You’ll leave the Reitwanderweg at the lower Garser Straßenfeld. The marked trail leads across meadows and fields up the Glasberg with a gentle incline to the Einsiedlerfelsen. Later, the trail rejoins the Reitwanderweg and takes you to the Emilienstein, which is said to still be haunted today. Perhaps you’ll spot the sunken carriage, which is said to still be visible on full moon nights …
