Geras' local mountain offers a great view of the villages. At Schmidkreuz, the trail branches off toward Steidlmühle and leads you back to Geras.

Vienna: A 22 – Stockerau – S3 – B 303 to Hollabrunn – B 2 to Roseldorf – L49 to Röschitz – L 50 to Pulkau – L41 to Oberhöflein – L 40 to Geras

Linz: A 7 toward Freistadt – B 310 to Freistadt – B 38 to Karlstift - B 41 to Schrems - B 2 to Göpfritz an der Wild – L 60 to the intersection with L 52 – in Klein Ulrichschlag, take L 174 to the intersection with L 1179 – B 30 to Geras

As a memento of your hike along the Goggitschbergweg in the Waldviertel, you can pick up a hiking badge from Geras Abbey and/or the Geras Nature Park at the abbey shop in Geras Abbey or at the Hubertushaus in the Geras Nature Park.
