Haldenweg

When choosing your route, make sure it’s appropriate for your fitness level. Check to see if the restaurants and cafes you plan to visit along the way are open. Pack your fully charged cell phone and maps in your backpack. For cross-border tours, please always carry a passport or ID card with you.

Route characteristics: 50% paved road, 25% forest road, 25% forest and meadow trails

Sturdy shoes, functional clothing, sun and rain protection, maps, trekking poles if needed, first-aid kit (blister bandages), and plenty of food (snacks, granola bars, fruit, water).

Together with Trail No. 82, this trail passes by the kindergarten and then branches off onto the well-maintained Haldenweg. At the Anna Freytag monument, this trail crosses Federal Highway B41. Together with the Naturparkweg, the trail climbs quite steeply for a short distance. After about 400 m, you’ll leave the Naturparkweg again, reach Scheiben, and follow State Road L 8298 back to Bad Großpertholz.
