St. Georgen welcomes its visitors with a magnificent view at 665 m above sea level.
During a walk, visitors can discover the historic church with the second oldest bell in Lower Austria and the modern Kreuzkapelle chapel. There is a viewing point at the Kreuzkapelle chapel, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Traunstein, the Großer Priel and the Ötscher.
The abbey forest of Seitenstetten Abbey provides refreshing shade on hot days. St. Georgen has belonged to the town of Waidhofen a/d Ybbs as a cadastral municipality since the municipality was merged in 1972.
