A recommended hike through the gently rolling hills of the Moststraße. Starting from Ertl, the route leads along the Voralpenstraße past houses and farms to the ridge. A highlight is the Voralpenblick lookout point.

In front of the Ertl kindergarten, walk along the gently ascending Schulstraße to Haus Moor. The path continues over a meadow section to Haus Steinriegl and along the Voralpenstraße on the ridge to Haus Haaghof. Then proceed to the road junction where the Windrad hiking trail (No. 367) branches off.
If you continue along the Voralpenstraße, you will pass Haus Reiterhof. Follow the markings onto Buchenberg to the Voralpenblick observation tower. With the church of St. Michael/Bruckbach ahead, descend towards Haus Hinterberg. The final ascent is to Rastberg to the Hubertus Chapel. The path then leads over meadows to Haus Eislehen, continues on the municipal road Anthof down to the valley to the walking and cycling path along the Urlbach, passing Gasthaus Wendtner and the Ertl sports center back to the starting point.

coming from Salzburg / Linz: motorway A1 exit Stadt Haag, turn right towards Stadt Haag, then next left towards St. Peter/Au and subsequently follow the signs to Ertl
By taking the trains of the Westbahn line to Seitenstetten - St. Peter/Au, then continuing by bus to Ertl
The Voralpenblick observation tower offers a beautiful view over the Mostviertel Alpine foothills.
