- Route description From the parking lot at Gasthof Schindler, after an exterior visit of the castle, cross the street to a forest area where the historic ice cellar and shortly after, the Hubertus chapel and a viewpoint with a resting place are located along the path. The marked trail then leads through an extensive forest area, interspersed with some agricultural fields. In the valley of the Herrengrabenbach, you cross the paved road and follow the stream along its left bank. After a short exit from the valley, you reach the former Kranzlmühle, below which you cross the stream to walk briefly along the right bank. Back on the left bank, you come to a small building, the former power station of Loiwein. After the ruins of the Zifferermühle, you walk about half a kilometer uphill, past barns, to the junction with a side path. If you turn right, you reach the "Pagan Sacrificial Sites" after 350 meters along a side trail. If you turn left, passing a wayside shrine, you reach the village of Loiwein, at the edge of which is a playground. In Loiwein, you can visit the Gothic church. After the gas station, you leave the town to turn left onto a path from the road after a few minutes. At about the start of a forest area, follow the marking to turn right, go downhill to an avenue, then to a sports field and finally to a bathing pond. Following the road, you return to the starting point.
